392 Baitz started as just an idea in 2017. Growing up in South Louisiana it’s easy to get hooked on fishing. We have an abundance of water to fish ranging from freshwater rivers, ponds, inshore brackish marshes and offshore saltwater. After doing it all, bass fishing attracted me the most due to the challenging aspects of it that suited my personality. However, to satisfy all the things I love about fishing inshore and offshore has stayed a part of all the fishing that I do. It’s hard to beat the fight of a redfish or the taste of fried red snapper. I also realized I was going through a lot of soft plastic baits and decided it was time to start making them myself. Not only did I enjoy creating new bait colors but I also found out I could reuse old plastic to make new lures. I immediately went to my old tackle boxes, took every old soft plastic bait I had never used or would ever use, melted them down, dyed them and turned them into my favorite baits. That’s the story of how 392 Baitz was created!

Our goal now is to make lures for all anglers that are of high quality and at a reasonable price while being made in America. We pride ourselves in doing custom colors for anglers that give them an advantage on their waters. Also recreating old colors that are hard to find or maybe you can’t find a certain bait in that old school color you love. We can make that happen!
